While many freight dimensioning systems rely on a central measuring station, CARGOMETER distributes data capture along the operational goods flow. Dimensioning takes place where goods are actually moved, without detours, without bottlenecks, and without additional handling trips – using individually configured measurement modules.

Measuring where goods are moved

CARGOMETER is a modular measurement infrastructure that can be flexibly positioned along the operational goods flow – from goods receipt through internal transshipment and processing zones to goods dispatch.

Captured data includes dimensions, volume, weight, and identity, as well as irregularly shaped shipments, warning labels, EPAL markings, stackability, and volume utilization – without interrupting processes.

The approach is independent of how goods enter the warehouse, how they move internally, or how they leave the site.

The measurement modules are deployed in a modular and tailor-made way – adapted to the layout, processes, and requirements of each customer.

Flexible to deploy, easy to integrate

CARGOMETER’s modules can be used independently of the mode of transport – Road, Air, Sea, and Rail – and can be integrated into existing infrastructures and IT systems.
