Superior Sensor Technology, a pioneer in application specific differential pressure sensors, and Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power, a leading sensors and power solutions provider, today announce a partnership in the field of highly accurate, application-focused pressure sensors.

Superior Sensor Technology is revolutionizing the high performance, cost driven pressure sensor market by developing integrative, highly intelligent solutions for industrial, HVAC and medical applications. The company’s technology is based on a proprietary architecture called NimbleSense™, that significantly improves overall sensor performance while adding exclusive application specific system features. Superior Sensor Technology was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Silicon Valley.

Experts on Design-In: For more than 30 years, Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power has been synonymous with technical consultations and supports, fast reactions to new requests and tailor-made solutions in the field of advanced sensor technology – especially for pressure sensors. Ideally we begin our consultation before the start-up of the product development process and advise you on both technical and commercial aspects. We give our support through all of your development phases – which may even last several years – to the final series launch, and ensure smooth delivery of a high-quality final product.

Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power will promote and offer the following Superior Sensor product series.

ND Series: Advanced Pressure Sensor Maximizes Design Flexibility and Performance

Superior’s ND Series differential pressure sensors have the industry’s lowest noise floor and achieve very high dynamic range to create the highest performing pressure sensing devices for industrial and air handling applications. With extended operating temperature from -20°C to 85°C, the ND Series offers up to 7 pressure ranges in a single package from 62.5 Pa to 345 mBar. Features include selectable bandwidth filter, integrated closed loop control and 50/60Hz notch filter.

HV Series:  Most Flexible Differential Pressure Sensors for HVAC

The industry’s first differential pressure sensors optimized for Air Handling applications. Offering up to 8 pressure ranges in a single device that can be modified ‘on the fly’, the HV Series minimizes variants to support the diverse requirements of the HVAC market. The series measures dry air and non‐aggressive gas pressure with very high accuracy. Providing the industry’s lowest noise floor, features include selectable bandwidth filter and optional integrated closed loop control.

SP Series:  Spirometry Pressure Sensors with Industry’s Most Stable Zero

Superior’s SP Series differential pressure sensors have the industry’s lowest noise floor and achieve very high dynamic range to create the highest performing Spirometry pressure sensing devices. With proprietary Z-Track technology that virtually eliminates zero drift, the SP Series also offer multiple pressure ranges in a single device with 4 system optimized ranges from 250 Pa to 40k Pa. Features also include selectable bandwidth filter and floating point technology.

As Superior Sensors launches new product offerings, Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power will also make those available to its customers. For more information on the companies or products, please visit Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power, or the Superior Sensors product page.
