At Intersolar Europe in Munich, from May 11 to 13, Stäubli Renewable Energy showcases the innovative enhancement of its eBOS (electrical Balance of System) product portfolio. Stäubli entered a partnership with Jurchen Technology, utilizing their manufacturing expertise in high-quality cable harness products together with its own know-how in advanced contact technology and more than 25 years of industry experience.

Since the early days of the PV industry, Stäubli has been serving the market with high-quality PV connectors. With its Original MC4 connector the pioneer has set the benchmark ever since. Based on many years of experience Stäubli has evolved from a product manufacturer to a solution provider, offering quality components for eBOS applications along the entire PV supply chain.

Today, more than 540 GW of the global PV capacity is connected with Stäubli Original MC4 PV connectors. The internationally positioned company takes responsibility for safety and reliability in the PV industry, and is committed to offering products and services that help to minimize the technical risks of PV installations. To ensure this, the usual and outstanding product quality of the PV connectors, as well as Stäubli’s many years of experience, will be used for the development and production of further eBOS components such as the high-quality in-line fuse MC4-Evo 2 ILF3 and the MC4-Evo 2 Y-splitter branch harness as DC interconnection solutions.

Through its recent partnership with Jurchen Technology, Stäubli combines its expertise in developing advanced contact technology and designing quality products with Jurchen Technology’s manufacturing expertise. From this partnership, Stäubli provides its customers with high-quality and fully TÜV certified product solutions based on the unique and proven in-use vulcanization process. This sophisticated technique grants an unparalleled level of tightness.

In addition, the new Stäubli eBOS components guarantee its customers the highest efficiency through low contact resistances, lower leakage currents, and perfect insulation thanks to the exceptional vulcanization technique used in production. This process uses a specially developed cross-linked material and creates an irreversible chemical bond between the cable sheath and the new inline fuse as well as the new Y-branch connector.

FEATURES

  • Worldwide unique manufacturing process through vulcanization
  • Permanent highest protection against ingress
  • Best-in-class performance even under harsh climatic conditions
  • Certified product safety
  • Short assembly time due to ready-to-use product design with connector assembly
  • Original MC4-Evo 2 connectors with best-in-class contact technology
