HeiQ Blue and  Ridge Home Fashions are engaging in a partnership to incorporate multiple innovative textile technologies HeiQ Cool, HeiQ Pure, HeiQ Mint, HeiQ Allergen* Tech, HeiQ Real Silk, and HeiQ Smart Temp into home fashion items.

The new collaboration also gives Blue Ridge Home Fashions access to HeiQ’s innovation pipeline, as well as to Marketing and Sales support from HeiQ to ensure the added value of these technologies is best understood throughout the value chain and by the end consumers.

HeiQ offers a range of innovative textile technologies that promote optimal well-being, particularly in bedding items. Among these technologies is HeiQ Cool, the world’s first textile technology that combines instant contact cooling and continuous evaporative cooling. Additionally, HeiQ provides Blue Ridge Home Fashions with HeiQ Smart Temp, also a dynamic cooling technology that mimics the human skin to push away moisture when the user is hot and sweaty. This cooling function deactivates once cooling is complete; in the field of odor control, HeiQ Mint is a plant-based deodorizer that controls malodor development on textiles, providing long-lasting effectiveness and keeping fabrics smelling fresh all day, while HeiQ Pure effectively inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria on textiles.

A large study in the United States showed that more than 90% of bedrooms had three or more detectable allergens (Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, 2018). HeiQ Allergen* Tech is a 100% biobased, naturally derived technology that reduces users’ exposure to inanimate allergens such as house dust mite matter, and pet allergens with the help of active probiotics.

Touch and feel are also paramount for bedding textiles. HeiQ Real Silk reproduces the luxurious touch effects of silk: soft, dry, cool, and comfortable, using extracts from recycled silk.

HeiQ Director of Brandforce & Business Development, Sam Devrient said:

“We are super excited about this collaboration with Blue Ridge Home Fashion, so that our market-leading innovative textile technologies will be on the shelves of major retailers in the US.”

Jody Folino, Chief Marketing Officer of Blue Ridge Home Fashions, said:

“This partnership with HeiQ enables us to provide our customers with differentiating technologies that deliver true functionality for enhanced comfort, the ultimate goal when choosing the textiles that help us have a better night’s sleep.”

Blue Ridge Home Fashion will be presenting its products with HeiQ innovations at New York Market Week, which will happen from the 13th to 16th of March – at 261 Fifth Avenue, 17th Floor, NY.
