The Franconian bicycle parts importer and exporter Messingschlager reports important changes in personnel in summer 2023. With two new appointments, the E-Mobility section was significantly strengthened and expanded.

Holger Weiser strengthens the team in the position of Senior Product Manager. In this function he is responsible for various projects and platforms. “We are delighted to have a top-class new employee. Holger Weiser has more than 20 years of professional experience in various areas of the bicycle industry," says Managing Director Dennis Schömburg. Weiser was a co-founder of the "Fixie Inc." brand and most recently worked as a product manager for the Cannondale brand at the "Cycling Sports Group".

The latest addition to the e-mobility team as Junior Product Manager is Maximilian Minges. “With the native of Bamberg, we have succeeded in bringing a talent with excellent technical expertise back home. After studying mechanical engineering, Maximilian gained experience in the bicycle industry at Cube in the past, which he can bring to our design work,” emphasizes Chris Heymanns, Head of E-Mobility. Minges will act as an interface in communication with suppliers and will also be responsible for his own product platforms.

Both new employees will report to Chris Heymanns, Head of E-Mobility in their new roles. The e-mobility team thus comprises six employees.

The purchasing department is pleased about Markus Scheuermann as a new team member in the position of Product Manager P/A and Content Manager. The 48-year-old from Northern Germany can look back on many years of experience in several areas in which he represents a real reinforcement for Messingschlager. As a trained media designer with a keen sense of automation processes, he was responsible for several digitization projects at Otto Bock to introduce a technical editing system and a company-wide PIM/MAM system. “Due to his experience in the field of PIM at a leading health care company and his subsequent many years of involvement with ax-lightness Composites GmbH in the bicycle business, Markus can offer a very wide range of expertise. We can put these to good use in many fields of activity,” explains Matthias Raab, Head of Procurement & Product Category Management.
