camLine has been selected to implement a strategic Industry 4.0 program at Entegris, a world-class supplier of advanced materials and process solutions for the semiconductor and other high-technology industries.

The program, intended for a 5 years’ period, is focused on supporting Entegris’ drive towards higher yields, shorter cycle times, and the reduction of defects in its global manufacturing operations. Entegris will work with camLine to roll out a comprehensive Manufacturing Execution System (MES) strategy and a powerful Asset Performance Management (APM) across all locations based on camLine’s LineWorks Suite.

camLine currently provides Entegris with solutions in the field of interactive Quality Assurance (QA) with advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC). With the new digital transformation program, information systems will support Entegris‘ manufacturing operations by providing increased automation of production processes to ensure the quality of recurring manufacturing tasks and accelerate their processing. In addition, production teams, engineers, and scientists will have expanded access to real-time information enabling responsive decision making based on data mining, data analytics and predictive maintenance.

“camLine provides modular Industry 4.0 solutions for global manufacturers in the high-tech industry. To support the manufacturing teams at distributed locations and their complex processes and in order to achieve operational excellence, we offer a sophisticated product portfolio. This allows the vertical range of manufacture to be mapped down to the essentials,” said Heinz Linsmaier, CEO of camLine. This refers to the LineWorks Suite with more than 30 modules for the demand-oriented implementation of MES strategies as well as Cornerstone, the pocketknife for engineers in the field of advanced Industrial Engineering (aIE).

“As a long-standing provider of manufacturing software solutions to Entegris, camLine supports the company‘s operational focus on quality assurance, high yields, and the drive toward zero defects. As we expand our manufacturing capacity and increase the digitalization and automation of our supply chain and global operations, camLine’s solutions play a significant role in enhancing the efficiency and performance of our processes,” said Neil Richards, Entegris’ Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Global Operations.

Über camLine

camLine provides and markets its own software solutions to enhance manufacturing excellence in high-tech manufacturing industries. For high-volume productions, the industrial automation systems are preferably based on MES modules of the LineWorks Suite. Manufacturers have also implemented the entire software suite as their Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

For manufacturers of discrete medical products and medical devices, camLine offers all-in-one solutions that are built on InFrame Synapse software. Numerous installations are present in further industries, e.g. semiconductor, electronics, or solar. The general approach addresses discrete, continuous, and mixed forms of manufacturing. These industry-specific deployments focus on advanced strategies to improve Quality Assurance (QA) and process integrity, production logistics, and efficiency (OEE) but also enabling Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS).

Technological innovation efficiency is supported by XperiDesk software that aims at accelerating technology development and provides pioneering cooperation opportunities of R&D with the production.

Cornerstone is an engineering analytics application to explore and analyze data as well as plan and execute Design of Experiments (DoE).

camLine as a solution partner has been offering its software and services, globally for more than 30 years. For more information, please visit www.camline.com.
