Leading minds from industry and science will meet on December 2 at the Munich Management Colloquium (MMK) Heilbronn under the motto “Industry meets Academia on Industrial AI.” TUM Campus Heilbronn will also be represented by numerous experts.

“Industry meets Academia on Industrial AI” is the motto on Tuesday, December 2, in Heilbronn, when leading minds from industry and science come together at the Munich Management Colloquium (MMK) Heilbronn – in the middle of one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI hubs. The all-day event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Aula of Bildungscampus Heilbronn, organized by Münchner Management Kolloquium GmbH in cooperation with the TUM School of Management, will focus on the topic of “Industrial AI.”

Research and industry in Germany have ideal conditions for helping to drive the AI era forward. That is why MMK Heilbronn focuses on Industrial AI in practice, presents strategies and real-world use cases, and facilitates direct exchange between decision-makers, innovators, and researchers.

Compact expertise from different perspectives

More than 40 speakers will take the stage and present the topic of Industrial AI from different angles to around 300 participants. They include:

  • Luise Pufahl, Professor of Information Systems at TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology, will appear from 11:10 to 11:40 a.m. at the Impulse & Panel “Smart lifts, sharp lasers: AI in every Move!”
  • Ali Sunyaev, Vice President of TUM Campus Heilbronn and Professor at TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology, will be on stage from 12:20 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lighting Session “The German Mittelstand.”
  • “Twin it to win it: AI in R&D” is the title of the keynote speech by Christine Eckert, Professor of Marketing Analytics at TUM School of Management, from 2 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.
  • A dialogue session on the topic of “Gigafactories: Dancing with the Grid” with Hartwig Anzt, Professor of Computational Mathematics at TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology, will take place from 4:35 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
